Dayton Rains Rains is one of the most striking natural beauties currently working in the adult entertainment industry. Everything from her “girl next door” demeanor to her genuine gracious presence instantly communicate the attributes of a rising star. Quickly recognizable by a tasteful dragonfly tattoo to the right of her navel, Dayton Rains’s body is lean and all natural; she even denies working out.

Originally from Sacramento, Dayton Rains spent some time finding her niche in the world. She held many different jobs ranging from cocktail waitress to manicurist. Like most adult performers, Dayton Rains initiated her adult career by dancing at local strip clubs. While working at Headliners in Sacramento, she shared the stage with another soon-to-be famous performer, Bunny Luv. During one of her dancing gigs, Dayton Rains met agent Roy Garcia who started getting her work doing nude layouts for various magazines. Dayton Rains continued dancing while branching out into nude modeling and eventually found her way to the exotic dancer’s paradise of Las Vegas. She worked at both Cheetah’s and Crazy Horse Too, playing to the large convention crowds and often pulling in more than $1000 a night.

Although dancing was a good source of income, Dayton Rains eventually became intrigued by the porn world through her run-ins with numerous feature dancers. While working at the Imperial Theater in Anaheim, Dayton Rains met Jill Kelly and was encouraged to ease into the industry. Over the next few months, Dayton Rains took it slow and did a few girl-girl scenes while still posing for magazine layouts. As she became more and more comfortable with the business, she began doing boy-girl scenes, but things didn’t always go as planned.

After spending a busy year working and promoting for Vivid, Dayton Rains’s contract ran out in September of 2001. Within days of her contract’s expiration, she signed an exclusive deal with Jill Kelly Productions, following in the footsteps of Devon; another Vivid refugee. Prior to signing her new contract, Dayton Rains had worked on other JKP movies (Trashy and Sexy Sirens) and enjoyed working with Jill and her new company. Her first JKP movie as a contract player is an all-girl feature slated for a Fall 2001 release.

Outside of the porn world, Dayton Rains continues to expand her grasp on the mainstream entertainment world. During the summer of 2001 she appeared in music videos for Dutch and Spade, Spineshank and Ozzy Osbourne. She also wrapped a mainstream film called Spun; the impressive cast list includes Mickey Rourke, John Leguizamo and Mena Suvari. Furthering her mainstream filmography are the films Rude Boy and Prepare to Meet Thy God, a short independent film set to premiere at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival.
